Crudely cast in a poor quality base metal alloy probably using a mould made from a ZAR two shilling piece. Often found with a nick at the top where the loop has broken off.
An uncommon variety exists. Minor changes to both sides. Most notably a stop has been added at the foot of the obverse. |
