THE AFRICAN LEOPARD
The African Leopard, Panthera pardus, is the least social animal of the African big cats, however due to their adaptability, they are the most widely distributed and can be found in a variety of habitats including desert land, grassland, high mountainous areas, rainforests and coastal regions.
THE CAPE BUFFALO
Ranked in the herd according to their fighting ability, the skin on a Buffalo's neck is up to 5cm thick to protect it during skirmishes for domination with other males. Their curved horns are also used for protection while they use the solidshield of horn that covers the top of its head, called the boss, because it is this part of their body that is used for powerful head butting.
